Selection of Makers’ Space teams was conducted in Room 401, Building 3 on September 5th, presided over by Tan Fei, Associate Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. A total of 12 teams from all the schools participated.
Associate Dean Tan Fei warmly welcomed the newly elected candidates and hoped the teams could pursue business and other innovative ventures, advocate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship with concrete actions. It is also hoped that each entrepreneurial teams could actively participate in the joint construction of the Makers’ Space and build an innovation and entrepreneurship platform that can be inherited. All the newly elected teams have wide experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. Some have won awards in the innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and others have established startups of a certain scale. Representatives from each team introduced themselves to reflect the strengths of the project and the team. Meanwhile they also made detailed plans for future development.
Huan Yishai, a staff member of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College introduced in detail the regulations of the Space, emphasizing the safety precautions and the management specifications of the venue use, and requiring all teams to observe them. In order to facilitate the smooth development of the team project, our university has continuously invested in building Maofeng Innovation Valley, providing students with an innovation and entrepreneurship environment and services. It is hoped that all teams will strengthen their learning, study diligently and practice hard, so as to win honor for our university and create a better campus atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The completion of the selection for the 2022-2023 academic year has laid a good foundation for the development of various discipline competitions in our university. It also motivates all teams to work hard and strengthen their abilities. Finally, it is hoped that all teams will achieve good results in future learning and competitions.
