On March 2, the University invited Professor Tang Yu, Director of Research of Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Professor Long Shiguo of Xiangtan University and Professor Tang Luxin, Director of Guangdong Province Research Center on Industrial Robot Assembly and Application for a coaching seminar. Vice President Zhang Rixin, project applicants and representatives from the University engineering schools attended the seminar, hosted by Chen Tianyong, Director of Planning and Research.
From the perspective of an applicant, Professor Tang Yu spoke about the four dimensions of the State Natural Science Foundation: status quo analysis, a Foundation selected topic, preparation, and project writing from issues, methods, to synopsis, content, groundbreaking points and expected outcomes.
Professor Tang Yu, Professor Long Shiguo and Professor Tang Luxin advised the applicants on a one-to-one basis. On behalf of the University, Vice President Zhang Rixin expressed his gratitude to the three experts and his strong support to our applicants. 2023 is the first year for the University to act as a support unit for applications to the State Natural Science Foundation projects, an opportunity to elevate the University research to a higher platform.
